I've tried a few of these mood light kits and this style is the best so far. The previous version of the optical rods that slide into the a trim holder is way to thick and didn't fit into the crevices of my car. This kit is much better. It's not perfect but pretty good. I wish the lighting more would default though to the last mode that is set before you turn the car off. Currently it defaults to the factory setting of revolving though so of the various light choices. I have them now installed about a month ago and so far so good. They look amazing at night and are very bright.
Works waaaay better than the kits with the clear plastic tubing and the fiber optic cable you have to stuff into the tubing. Significantly less wires to hide too. Must know how to hardwire into your vehicle fuse box, plenty of videos on YouTube that show you ways of doing that though.
