Warranty Policy
CarAktis products are covered by a 12-month limited warranty, effective from the date of the original consumer purchase. To confirm warranty eligibility, a valid sales receipt or other reasonable proof of purchase is required.
1. Warranty Coverage
- Within 3 months of receiving the product, if your item is damaged or defective, simply return it and we will send you a new replacement.
- From month 3 to 12, if any quality issues arise, we will provide free repair service.
- After the 12-month period, unfortunately, we are unable to offer free repair services.
If a product is replaced under warranty, the replacement item will continue to follow the original warranty period.
Example: You purchase a CarAktis product on Jan 1, 2023 (12-month warranty). On Jun 1, 2023, you request a replacement due to a quality defect. The replacement item will be covered until Jan 1, 2024.
In addition, CarAktis offers a 30-day “Free Replacement Warranty” (subject to CarAktis’ evaluation) for products that fail or do not function as expected.
2. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents or human factors (e.g., drops, crushing, impact, liquid ingress).
- Cosmetic damage or normal wear that does not affect functionality (e.g., deformation, peeling, paint loss, scratches, dents, cracks, noise, looseness, discoloration).
- Damage caused by improper installation, use, maintenance, or storage (e.g., insect damage, animal chewing, moisture, condensation, battery explosion).
- Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repairs by non-authorized service providers.
- Products with inconsistent, altered, or missing serial numbers.
- Loss, theft, commercial use, rental, resale, or products diagnosed with no fault found.
- Damage caused by intentional acts, force majeure (e.g., fire, earthquake, flood), or catastrophic damage (e.g., severe deformation, missing parts) beyond repair.
- Items sent for warranty that are not the original product (e.g., replicas, non-CarAktis products) — return shipping both ways will be the buyer’s responsibility.
- Abuse of the service or fraudulent behavior will result in permanent cancellation of service eligibility, and CarAktis reserves the right to pursue legal action.
- This service must be requested online using the original purchase account. If the account is deleted, the service request cannot be initiated.
- This warranty is non-transferable.
3. Service Application Requirements
When applying for warranty service, please provide:
- A description of the issue
- Photos or videos clearly showing the defect
4. Additional Terms
- CarAktis offers a wide range of products with varying complexity, functionality, and price. We are not responsible for improper installation, but we will do our best to assist you. For vehicle modifications, we recommend consulting a professional installer.
- CarAktis does not offer refunds or returns without valid reason. Any abusive or threatening behavior towards our staff will void any refund/return rights.
- We may update our website, product details, and pricing without prior notice to adapt to market needs.
- We reserve the right to accept or cancel any order at any time. Orders suspected of fraud will not be refunded until we confirm the payment can be safely returned to the rightful account holder.
- CarAktis is not responsible for installation services, installation-related issues, or personal property damage. Our liability will never exceed the purchase price of the product.
